How to Add & Install Different Commentary Languages in PES 2018

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 comes with an English commentary, unfortunately commentary in Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is not much different from Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. You guys who have often played Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 series will only feel a little difference in Pro Evolution Soccer 2018.

If you are bored with the default commentary of Pro Evolution Soccer 2018, you can also add them automatically via steam. Steam provides some ready-made commentator versions for your Pro Evolution Soccer 2018. So for you who want to try other language commentators like arabic, spain and so on just follow the steps below.

The following commentary languages are available in the Steam version :

Arabic
English
French
German
Greek
Italian
Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin
Portuguese
Brazilian Portuguese
Spanish
Spanish (Argentina)
Spanish (Chile)
Spanish (Mexico)

To add any of those commentaries, it's easy ! you have to do the following :

1. Open your Steam and Go to your Steam library

2. Right-click on PES 2018 & Go to properties

3. Navigate to language --> Select any language. This will download and overwrite the language pack; they vary in size between 137mb to 1.4 GB.

5. Go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2018\Data

6. You will find (mostly) 3 files that are of importance, for example if you downloaded the Italian language:

"dt20_ita_x64.cpk", "dt41_ita_all.cpk", "dt43_ita_x64.cpk"

7. You will now want to copy those 3 files into a separate folder as backup. Now you can download the next language. I will paste the file names for every language:

Arabic:

dt20_ara_x64.cpk
dt41_ara_all.cpk
dt43_ara_x64.cpk

English:

dt20_eng_x64.cpk
dt41_eng_all.cpk
dt43_eng_x64.cpk

French :

dt20_fra_x64.cpk
dt41_fra_all.cpk
dt43_fra_x64.cpk

German :

dt20_ger_x64.cpk
dt41_ger_all.cpk
dt43_ger_x64.cpk

Greek :

dt20_gre_x64.cpk
dt41_gre_all.cpk
dt43_gre_x64.cpk

Italian :

dt20_ita_x64.cpk
dt41_ita_all.cpk
dt43_ita_x64.cpk

Simplified/Traditional Chinese (Includes Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin) :

dt20_zha_x64.cpk
dt41_can_all.cpk
dt41_jpn_all.cpk
dt41_man_all.cpk
dt43_can_x64.cpk
dt43_jpn_x64.cpk
dt43_man_x64.cpk

Portuguese :

dt20_por_x64.cpk
dt41_por_all.cpk
dt43_por_x64.cpk

Brazilian Portuguese :

dt20_bra_x64.cpk
dt41_bra_all.cpk
dt43_bra_x64.cpk

Spanish (includes Spanish Argentina, Chile, Mexico) :

dt20_spa_x64.cpk
dt41_spa_all.cpk
dt43_spa_x64.cpk
dt41_ags_all.cpk
dt43_ags_x64.cpk
dt41_chl_all.cpk
dt43_chl_x64.cpk
dt20_mex_x64.cpk
dt41_mex_all.cpk
dt43_mex_x64.cpk

After you've made a backup of all the ones you want to use, just change the language back to your preferred one in Steam and afterwards paste all the files you just backed up for other languages into the data folder. It should look like this in-game.
