Installation :
It is recommended that you use a clean install of FIFA 18 with the latest update installed via Origin for this patch. This patch may be compatible with older versions of FIFA 18, but you may experience some bugs. This patch may be NOT compatible with another patch/mod.
CG File Explorer 18 by Shawminator is necessary to run this patch. You can download it here.
CG File Explorer 18 includes a documentation which explains how to use this program. It’s recommended to read this document if you don’t know how to use this program.
1. Open CG File Explorer 18 (always run this program as admin) and choose “FIFA18.exe” file inside your FIFA 18 directory.
2. Then, CG File Explorer 18 will ask you to choose the mod you want to install. Select “Import Patch” and choose the FIP18 V5 mod file (those files are in the “Patch Files” folder extracted from the .rar file). Patch will be imported (this process may take time, please be patient).
3. When the mod is imported correctly, CG File Explorer 18 will open. Close CG File Explorer 18 and your FIFA 18 will be ready to play with FIP18 V5 installed.
4. Run FIFA 18 via Origin (remember to disconnect Origin app first).
Alternative Squads File: once you have the patch installed, you need to copy the file “SquadsIconsFIPC” (if you play with “Custom version”), “SquadsIconsFIPB” (if you play with “Brazilian version”), “SquadsIconsFIPG” (if you play with “Greek version”), “SquadsIconsFIPCZ” (if you play with “Czech version”), “SquadsIconsFIPCH” (if you play with “Chinese version”) or “SquadsIconsFIPR” (if you play with “Romanian version”) located in “Squads Files\Squads with Icons” folder and paste it in “\Documents\FIFA 18\settings”. Then, start the game normally. Finally ingame, go to “Profile”, “Load Squads” and select the “IconsFIP C”, “IconsFIP B”, “IconsFIP G”, “IconsFIP CZ”, “IconsFIP CH” or “IconsFIP R” squad file.
Note 1: if you want to play the “unmodded” FIFA 18 (for online game modes), you have to delete the “data” and “patch” folders (with a shortcut icon) inside your FIFA 18 directory. Also, delete the bcrypt.dll file. Then, rename the “data_original” and “patch_original” folders to “data” and “patch” folders respectively. You will be able to play online again, but you will need to apply the mod with CGFE if you want to play with the mod again. It’s recommended to have multiple FIFA 18 folders, one for modded game and one for online game.
Note 2: if FIFA 18 doesn’t start after clicking on “Play” in FIFA Launcher with the mod installed, try to restart Origin app and launch FIFA 18 WITHOUT disconnecting Origin (Online modes will be available but they are not compatible with the mod and it’s not recommended to play those modes with the mod applied).

1. Open CG File Explorer 18 (always run this program as admin) and choose “FIFA18.exe” file inside your FIFA 18 directory.
2. Then, CG File Explorer 18 will ask you to choose the mod you want to install. Select “Import Patch” and choose the mod file.
3. When the mod is imported correctly, CG File Explorer 18 will open. Close CG File Explorer 18 and your FIFA 18 will be ready to play with FIP18 V3 installed.
4. Run FIFA 18 via Origin (remember to disconnect Origin app first).

Installation :
1. Download the preferred language.
2. Extract the file to yout FIFA 18 game directory.
3. Change commentary from in-game Settings.
for Japanese commentary, you have to do the following steps
Download the Japanese commentary language and place it. Change the commentary language to Japanese with the audio settings in the game. If you can not change it to Japanese please try the following.

1. Back up FIFA 18.exe
2. Open "FIFA 18. exe" with Hex editor.
3. Text type "fr_FR" Search and edit to "ja_JP".
4. Text type "fre,fr" Search and edit to "jpn,jp".
5. Search "ja_JP" in another place different from the above "3" and edit it to "fr_FR".
6. Save your changes.
7.Start the game and change the commentary to Japanese with the audio setting of the game setting.
The mod improves the following aspects of FIFA 18 career mode:
Improved player growth so that player who performs, trains and play more regularly improves further than player who do not.

Improved training for younger player with higher potential.

Youth player now starts from 14 years old.

Improved player morale(fringe player should whine less not being selected every match).
Improved sacking so the board is more lenient.
Improved Player Growth System where older player that performs good doesn’t drop in overall and young player that outperforms their potential will increase their potential. (Form > 8.0)
Removed scripted tournament/cup matches where smaller team will outperform bigger team.
Improved training for players on form and young players that have good potential where they will train and get better way faster than average players. So you could get players like Messi and Ronaldo caliber.
Improved youth player skills and traits so they are more varied.
